The TGS Patrol Tactical Vest is a custom made soft and hard armor vest made for Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and is made out of a combination of 1000, 500, 400 Denier Cordura Nylon for strength and durability. Built in authorized ranger green. Comes with Sheriff front and rear patches.
This vest is designed to house your issued body armor and to be worn over your uniform. PALS webbing covers the outside of vest on the front and back; in order to attach other modular pouches and accessories.
The vest is capable of holding front and rear hard armor plates. The plates can be rapidly inserted without taking the vest off, front and back. There is a small admin pouch within each vest plate pouch, for small items like pens and interview notebooks.
The plate pouches open and close with a silent pull, heavy duty, # 10 zipper. The vest secures to the body with a quick release buckle. The cummerbund system allows you to adjust the size of your carrier very easy utilizing a G-hook buckle system on the rear of the vest.
Each vest is custom made to order, using your issued armor to size your vest. Upon ordering your vest, we will send out a tracing kit which will include instructions a sharpie pen and tracing paper. Once you have traced your issued armor, you will send the tracing to us in Oceanside, Ca. Lead time per vest is approx. 5-8 weeks from the time that we receive your body armor tracing.
